Steve Watts

Steve has a wealth of experience in the fitness industry, as both an owner and operator of 5 successful health clubs and his experience spanning over 30 years. 

After working in the Hotel Industry he entered the private sector managing to secure private investments to open his first club. He worked from inception to completion managing all aspects.

In addition to this he has acted as Leisure Consultant for “HBOS & Lloyds TSB” on various projects including various football stadium’s and joint venture partnerships with Local Authorities. 

After the success of his first club he went on to open ‘The Thames Club’ in Staines which won a coveted design award. He then opened his third club ‘The River Bourne Club’ in Chertsey which is still one of the most successful independent clubs in the South of England. 

In 2013 he rebranded his first club in Bracknell to FW Urban Gym which is a fully functional indoor & outdoor training facility with the added benefit of an accredited OCR programme (Obstacle Training Course). 

He represents various brands in Europe & the Middle East including PulseRoll & Cryo brands in the Recovery sector. I also represented on a consultancy basis various Fitness Groups, Corporate, independent & new ‘Set Ups’ in Europe & the Middle East. 

In April 2018 Steve teamed up with Pete Hillier and together opened their own flagship site, eActiv Health Lounge. eActiv is the first club in the UK to offer a fully integrated digital solution using the innovative eGym system & then opened their second eActiv site in Wokingham Berks in 2021.

Pete Hiller

Marketing Director/Consultant

Pete was an experienced franchisee in the leisure industry, as well as a personal trainer before establishing his own marketing company focused on fitness industry pre-sales and rebranding. 

Pete played an integral role in the development and rebranding of “Pride Fitness” in Letchworth, taking their client base from 450 to just under 1000 in a 3 month period. He was also responsible for the pre-sale of a 16k sq foot gym in Ipswich ( “FTC Gym”) which sold just over 1000 memberships before it opened it’s doors. 

Pete works as a consultant for “Beatz” fitness brand which launched in the UK last year and continues to help fitness facilities with their lead generation. 

Pete has worked with Steve on their recent marketing promotions and continues to support development within the Middle East.

A U.K graduate with a keen interest in sports & fitness, Abhinav has worked in the fitness industry for a little over 10 years. He pursued a career in the Middle East and has represented various leading brands such as Precor, Life-fitness, Matrix, etc., Currently residing in Dubai, He understand how this industry works(out). Thus, understanding the client’s vision, goals and requirement is one of his biggest strengths especially in this region.
